The “Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Explosive Atmospheres) Regulations”, 2003 requires employers to undertake a written risk assessment of all new plant installed after July 1st 2003, and for plant that existed prior to this date, by July 1st 2006. The results of this risk assessment must be recorded in an Explosion Protection Document (EPD).  Contact LCE today to ensure your company are compliant with the requirement to have an EPD before July 1st 2006.
